Do you want to lead a dedicated FR&A team and play a crucial part in the Center of Excellence management team? You will be a part of important finance projects and process development and you will have an impact on the entire company, at a global level. You will also contribute significantly to the development of this new group function, its tools, metrics and best practices. We are looking for a strategic, innovative and enthusiastic Finance Manager to the Operations team consisting of  Business Controllers and Business Analysts. 

Function & Role

Electrolux is part way through a global finance transformation journey and has established a Financial Reporting & Analysis Center of Excellence (hereafter FR&A CoE). At Electrolux, the Manager for ‘Operations’ (e.g. manufacturing, supply chain, procurement) leads a team within Group Finance and  report to the Head of the Global FR&A CoE.

The Global FR&A CoE function is a function under build-up, which will be responsible for 1) developing the general controlling process and 2) providing FR&A and Business Controlling support for Group Functions ‘CX’ (Customer Experience) and ‘Global Operations’, as well as our operating business areas (BA). 

You and your team partner with Global Operations and business area organizations to support financial planning and drive reporting and analysis. In addition, you play an active role in the CoE management team and drive finance projects and process development. You will have an impact on the entire company, at a global level, and contribute significantly to the development of this new group function, its tools, metrics and best practices. 

Key Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the delivery of insights-based controlling support for Global Operations, BAs and other functions in scope
  • Support annual financial planning, forecasting and reporting for Global Operations, BAs and other functions in scope
  • Prepare management presentations for Global Operations and BAs performance reviews
  • Manage team of at least 8 people and allocate resources to support an effective and sustainable FR&A CoE service delivery
  • Resolve prioritization conflicts and approves decisions for FR&A CoE processes and activities
  • Develop specialized expertise within finance process development and automation
  • Drive process standardization and use of new technologies, to ensure fulfilment of efficiency and effectiveness targets in line with Finance and FR&A CoE strategy

Qualifications

We are looking for an experienced and talented person who can lead the FR&A CoE’s ‘Operations’ team. The applicant should have solid understanding of financial reporting as well as accounting and planning. In addition, the candidate should demonstrate strong leadership and business partnering skills, ideally having (co-)led a similar finance transformation in an international matrix organization, either from within or as an external consultant. Having experience from business area such as manufacturing, supply chain and/or procurement is a strong merit.
